deleting messages disappear not going to trash - I have followed routine but .msf files do not re-appear - have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck - help

I followed the routine to fix corrupted trash but my IMAP file does not update when I turn on Tbird. I can delete e-mails but they just disappear - don't go to the Trash - what can I do?

Right click the account and select subscribe.

In the list of server account will almost certainly a deleted folder check the name offered.

Right click the account again and select settings. In the server setting for the account, check that trash is moved to the folder specified in the precious window. Sometime Thunderbird will be using "Trash" and the server "deleted" or "Deleted items" or in the case of localized versions, it can be an English name and a localized one.
