I keep getting notifications that there is a newer version of Mozilla available, but when I try to download the newest one it just pulled up a window that shows the Firefox logo an arrow and my apps icon

Hi JessieLee, It does look like your Firefox is out of date.

You appear to be using Fx41 you should be on Fx44 with Fx45 due out in a couple of weeks. It is unlikely but something could be messing with the information so check by using 

Menu {three bar icon) -> Help { (?) icon) -> About Firefox
  • What version does that show that you are using ?

Try to update Firefox by following these instructions:
