On Mac OS X the menu options above the writing pane have vanished and I can't get them back. No options for Send, Delete, Reply or Reply All.

The Composition Toolbar above the writing pane has vanished and View/Toolbars doesn't show anything for the composition tool bar, so it has no effect. I've turned on/off all the other toolbars, but can get this one back. There used to be options for Send, Delete, Reply, etc... there, but all are gone now.

I'm using the Mac OSX version of Thunderbird. It's the most recent version 45.1.1, if I remember correctly.

Sounds to me like another mac user with a theme problem... Hold the shift key while starting Thunderbird and continue in safe mode when prompted. Any better?
