I can not update Shockwave flash. If I can't I can't play Farmville. It says it is blocked. When I try to update Fl;ash it says "Application intialization err

I have had this problem for awhile. I play Farmville, and now all I get is a black screen when trying to load. So I guess I need to update my Adobe flash, but when I try it says " application intialization error"..I do not know what this means. or how to fix it..Please someone tell me how to update my Adobe Flash, with all that is going on. Thank you

Use the provided link to download the current player. Shut down all browsers, then run the installer.

Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.
