I am using AVG cloud with the latest AVG updates and shortly after installing the new Firefox 47.0.1 update, AVG keeps notifying me that Firefox.exe is corrupt.

I re-imaged my hard drive to an earlier backup to go back to Firefox 47.0 and will wait to hear before updating Firefox again.

Thank you.

Firefox 47.0.1 in update or download from mozilla.org are not infected.

Either something on your system has infected Firefox or the most common reason for message is a false positive. A false positive can happen within the first couple days after a new Firefox update and the antivirus then fix it in a definitions update.

Thank you James. I just updated Firefox again and it seems to be okay. AVG updates every 4 to 5 hours so whatever the problem was went away. This can be closed out.
