Inport creates a folder, not a list of favorites on the bar and is therefore useless.

I am now moving to FireFox away from IE11 because it just does not work right. I would like the favorite bar to display all of the specific icons (without any text which i do not think that you support) that I imported, because this is the way I use browsers.

First, it should not be an add on and second, it does not work. All the text labels are still there.

To address the question of import creating a folder -- yes, it does. You can manually move the contents to the folder to the desired location in the Library dialog. To open that, either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+b
  • (menu bar) Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks
  • (toolbar) Bookmarks menu button > Show All Bookmarks

By default, the Library dialog opens with the "Unsorted Bookmarks" category displayed. If this is not where Imported Bookmarks was added, use the category column at the left to find it under Bookmarks Menu, then move the relevant content to the Bookmarks Toolbar. You can either drag and drop from the lists on the right side to the folder hierarchy in the left column, or cut and paste among the lists on the right side.

Regarding the add-on:

The Add-ons page mentions right-clicking a label and choosing a menu item to suppress labels. Does that work? (I haven't tried it myself.)

On the Bookmarks Toolbar right click on the Bookmark. Click on Properties (at the bottom) and you can reduce the name down to nothing.
