Since the last update to Thunderbird,I cannot open my account directly.On the page that opens I have to click on write a message,then when this opens I have to click on "Help",click on open in safe mode and go through the whole proceedure that that involves,before I can finally get into my inbox and access my folders.I am 77,recovering from a stroke and find all this very troublesome and tiring.

  • Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
