RETR error msg, deleted hundreds of emails, still happening, whats next

running TB 9.0.1 overnight I stopped getting e mails due to RETR command error saying SYS/TEMP problem retrieving message. Did a search and found it could be a specific email issue. Went to webmail on frontier and messages are there. Deleted hundreds of them back into August and still getting same message. Wondering what to do next?? Thanks, Scott
