Message on screen says my mail servers license is expired, missing or invalid, so what should I do?

When I open Thunderbird email I get a message on the screen which says basically that my email servers license is expired, missing or invalid. The email seems to be working ok, but the message keeps coming up and I'm not sure what to do.
