I have to install FF via my command line and "wget". What is the latest version that works with CentOS 7 and where do I find it? TIA!

CentOS is one of many Linux distros out there with CentOS 7-1708 being the current version.

According to distrowatch it comes with 52.2.0 which is a ESR version that came out when Firefox 54.0 was Released.

If it can run Firefox 52 then Firefox 57.0.2 should be able to run. It may be in the repositories in your package manager or you can just use the tarball version from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Depending on where you have the extracted Firefox folder make sure it has read/write permissions for the internal Firefox updates from Mozilla to work. A easy way if you are the only user is to have it in Home.

Would have no idea what works with CentOS 7, that is on you to find out as is your OS.

The latest Full Version Compile is here. Firefox 57.0.2 https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
