DirecTV Now prevents the use of any internet browser other than Google's Chrome to stream content.

See: https://help.directvnow.com/hc/en-us/articles/212447843-What-devices-and-browsers-can-be-used-with-DIRECTV-NOW-

Do you know why, and can you share why the use of Firefox isn't allowed to stream content?

Is there anything that Mozilla can do that would lead to DirecTV Now allowing the use of Firefox to stream content?

Thank you,

Lindsey

Chrome has propitiatory streaming software (Chrome Cast) that Firefox can not use. Though there is something I think in Firefox Android. How ever there is testing going on for the future.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
