change recently in time and day selection

Recently I can no longer put dates for appointments more than an hour. Also can no long put events in more than one day. Eg a holiday I used to be able to select the start date and the ending date, but it changes to one day only. Very annoying. I can put in reoccurring dates to get around it, but still not how it should be used. Any ideas on what has changed. I have not changed any settings.

Solução escolhida

At the end of the start and stop fields are two links. If the tips of the two links are touching the time is locked to what you have set for a default event length. Click on that link icon to separate them.

Thanks Airmail I did try clicking on the link but could not see what it did. So all fixed now thanks for your help.
