Firefox crash reporting keeps showing on Android 8.1.0
I have it unchecked in the settings, but sometimes it keeps popping up when I'm not even using Firefox and I can't use the phone (Xiaomi Mi A2) because I can't close it, it's a white screen, it always is on the foreground and I can't do anything, if I try to close the app from the Overview button it keeps getting out of that menu (for half a second I can see the apps, that's where I see it's the crash reporter and I can manage to close other apps but it doesn't let me close this one). Sometimes it happens when the phone is not unlocked and I have to unlock it, get a white screen where not even the home buttons work, press the block button again and then go to the "Emergency" option when the phone is blocked.

Sometimes devices allow the installation of an incompatible app / update. Or the app or profile data may be corrupted, or you may have a poorly behaved addon/extension if you use those. Fixing the cause of the crash would be the best bet. On a device, a full uninstall and reinstall may be a good first option.
Are you sure it is not the device displaying the crash notification? Crash reporter ismeant to send a report to mozilla, not display a crash state to you.
The way Android works is that it loads all the things, even if you do not have a currently open "activity" in a particular app. So yeah they can crash even when you do not have them open.

I managed to get a screenshot of the Overview, as you can see it's Firefox's crash reporter.
I have only one addon: Adblock. Could it be causing this?
Can you visit about:crashes in Firefox and see if there are any crashes that have been sent?

No crashes have been sent, but there are like 9 crashes from today at the same hour. The crash of the screenshot above.
That screenshot is not helpful. Are you able to switch to the crash reporter app and submit the crash?

No, the app isn't working, it's just a white screen I can't close because it keeps putting itself in the foreground. It's just what you see on the screenshot but the whole screen.
I would not think adblock would crash ff (and crash reporter, and interfere with the phone as such).
Temporary: So you can use the phone, go to your phones settings, apps, and kill the ff process. It cannot crash if it is not running. (Force stop.)
Sync or otherwise back up your ff bookmarks, passwords, etc. Uninstall ff and all its data and cache. Reinstall it. Hopefully that fixes things. On desktops it is easier to identify some particular thing and fix it (such as the problem bit of a corrupt profile) but in Android it is nearly pointless.
You might also test by installing ff nightly alongside, if you have the space, and see if it also crashes. You can keep or uninstall it without affecting the regular ff installation.

My phone recently updated to Android 9 and the issue hasn't ocurred ever since.
I hope it stays that way.
Thank you for your help.
Fantastic! I hope Android 9 is to your liking, and that ff stays stable. Have a good holiday.
