For last 2 days, when I send a message with 2 spaces between sentences the receiver sees 2 question marks rather than spaces. How can I fix this?

Since 4/28/2019, when I type with 2 spaces between text the e-mail shows two question marks. I never had the problem before then. When I did a reply to another message, the copy of the original message turned 2 spaces into ?? and also a quote (") into a ?. This does not happen with a gmail account that I have.

Hello,

Would you try this please :

Go to the Configuration Editor (Tools, Options, Advanced, General, Config Editor). Scroll down to mail.strictly_mime

Click on it (it will highlight); click on it again and change it from "false" to true.

That should do the trick .....
