How do I turn off the new spam checker?
Since the last update - which I sincerely regret having allowed - virtually every email that comes in is marked as "Thunderbird thinks this message is junk mail." Somehow, the stuff that does get through without the warning is all commercial stuff ... and each one of my private emails, and almost all of my subscribed emails, are still, after all this time and repeated "training", being marked as Junk. Some of these emails are people I hear from multiple times a day ... and they never fail to be marked as junk.
If I set it as "not junk", read it, and move on ... when I come back to the email, it often marks it as junk again as soon as I click on it, and that even with my personal emails which have no links in them, or pictures, or anything.
I want to turn OFF the junk filtering in Thunderbird. It's been well over a month ... and continues to hit on all of my private mail, and it's getting tiresome. Can someone please tell me how to turn it off?

If you select 'Tools'/'Account Settings' from the menu, you'll find a 'Junk Settings' option under each account. You can turn off the adaptive junk mail controls in there - I think that's what you're looking for?
