Slow email while using FireFox and Yahoo

I had a problem with an online retailer and made changers to my computer so I could complete a purchase transaction. Now, my speed of FireFox browser is very slow and if I enter more than 5 or so searches from my Yahoo email and if a email opens a new tab it just blinks and doesn't connect.

yahoo may be installing cookies that FF is blocking for your protection.
