Fix Font Choice Problem - allow settings change
On mobile phone, it is far easier to read sans serif fonts. These even display for a second before a web page imposes its fonts. FF Android used to allow (about:config) the user to choose between system or other font, or web font. The switch is obviously still there - this could easily be incorporated into a simple Settings option. This is a big deal-for me it affects both the legibility and loading speed of all web pages. Rather than the limited, often wizzy add-ons now permitted, FF might focus on making pages legible and at least giving us the choice. Either a settings change or allow an add-on (there are several) to manage this. Not a problem in the desktop version; only FF Android. It has gotten so bad, I have switched to Kiwi as a browser which allows full customization. But I would far prefer to use FF as it is more secure and would simplify synching. Cannot understand why this is so difficult to tweak. Thanks

If you need access to about:config you can use Firefox Beta or Firefox Nightly.
Thanks but this has been known to me for like a year, and it is not a solution. This simple tweak/switch/settings option should be in the release build. Plus Beta and Nightly releases lose all kinds of settings and add-ons and themes when they update. It is not a practical solution.
This is both a pretty simple thing to fix, and yet it is hugely important in that it affects every webpage viewed. I cannot possibly understand why Mozilla cannot allow this - it would even speed up page loading. It has 0 security implications. Mozilla has just stopped listening. It breaks my heart a little as it was by far the best browser.
I watch and wait for the fix - or if FF allows an addon to change all fonts (e.g.Re-Font)). But more and more Kiwi for Android allows the customization I need.
