Amazon unavailable
I cannot get onto amazon on your browser currently, I get the message The connection has timed out. All other sites work fine, and I can get on amazon from other browsers.

Does it make any difference if you use a link from a search result? For example, from a DuckDuckGo "site:" search:
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=site%3Aamazon.co.uk
Have you noticed issues with any other sites?
If you are not intentionally using a proxy server, try to rule that out as a possible issue. On the Settings page --
- Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Settings (previously "Options")
- Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
- Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
- Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it
-- there's a tiny search box at the top of the page. Type proxy and Firefox should filter to the "Settings" button, which you can click.
Try "No proxy".
