A few weeks ago, when streaming, the videos started stopping to buffer very frequently. (It used to not happen at all. I am visiting the same websites I always have.) Each time it takes anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes to buffer enough to continue playing. It pretty much ruins any movie or show that I'm watching. I use CCleaner to keep the computer clean. I have W10. I clear history on FF DAILY. My download speed on speedtest.com consistently runs between 43-48Mb. I'm wondering if there are any settings or about:config options that will decrease this buffering and return me to smooth streaming. In "settings" I unchecked "use hardware acceleration when available" and that seemed to help for about 24 hours - so it wasn't the main problem. Is there a cache for video somewhere that I can increase, so that the streaming has enough "room"? Please forgive me; I am not the least bit tech-y, so my online searches are just tragic - I don't really know what to ask!~ Any help will be SO appreciated.
