FireFox Library how to Undo or Reverse accidentally clicking Clear Downloads
Greetings ( I v I ) , i have a question , how can i undo accidentally clearing my downloads in my download library , i have some downloads that failed , and i keep them as a reminder that i have to repeat the downloads , but i accidentally cleared the downloads bcuz i accidentally clicked on the clear downloads button , how do i undo or bring them back? i got tons of updates for the firefox browser in the past years , i wish they'd update it so that , if i clicked the clear downloads button in the firefox library , it would do something like the recycle bin where id have to do it twice and confirm that i want to delete them , me manually deleting the downloads one by one , im sure i want to delete them , but accidentally deleting everything not so much , its cool that there is a feature like that , but sometimes it gets annoying when i accidentally click on the clear downloads button , is there a way to undo it? how long does the cleared downloads stay? or is it too late to get them back? i hope that the next time firefox gets updated , they do something about the clear downloads button , make it like the recycle bin where you have to confirm it twice if you want to delete all of it.

Downloads are considered history items: clearing history removes corresponding download items and vice versa, so you need a backup copy of places.sqlite (bookmarks and history) to recover the deleted history. You may still have history references to pages on the website where you downloaded those files.
You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
