Weird rendering of email messages

I'm not technically proficient when it comes to this material so I apologize, in advance, for my lack of understanding and awareness about the subject-matter....but, ...why are my outgoing emails rendered with unnecessary charactersand attributes instead of simply my message? How do I fix this and make it so that all of the unnecessary characters are not included when sending email messages? I attempted to attach a screen shot image via a PDF doc as additional evidence of what I am referring to but Firefox and/or Thunderbird responded with multiple error messages so I wasn't able to include it.. This is really aggravating. Please advise. Thank you.

I hope you're doing well and getting off to a strong beginning to 2022.

I want to update you as to where matters rest as far as my communication with Tina Reynolds is concerned. First off, thank you again for introducing me to Tina and your firm. I understand why you're excited about being a part of her team; it's a spectacular portfolio of services and capabilities which you have to offer. I'm looking forward to learning more in the few days.

Tina and I had an introductory Zoom call this afternoon and agreed to communicate further after we complete some follow-up work from today' call. She was very helpful with her descriptions of what the firm is all about and how they like to work with folks such as us.

Our next communication will occur once we've both distilled what we've provided one another coming away from our call today. I will follow-up with you following that conversation to share my thoughts about where I see things going.

Okay, first, I do NOT have the perfect solution for you, but there are others here who might. Something to check: In tools>preferences>general, click 'advanced' on fonts: UNtick allow messages to use other fonts. Select 'latin' from dropdown menu and then select preferred font. Click OK. Repeat that process by selecting 'other writing systems' from dropdown menu and select the same font settings. Click OK again.

If it still isn't working, my suggestion is - for the short term only until someone with more knowledge on this responds - Revert to plain text composition in Tools>account settings and untick the 'compose in html option'. That eliminates bold and italics and the like, but keeps email content with no strange characters. If you take that approach, test again as stated above.

My solutions may not fully fix your issue, but I feel your pain in wanting clean email when contacting clients.

Okay, first, I do NOT have the perfect solution for you, but there are others here who might. Something to check: In tools>preferences>general, click 'advanced' on fonts: UNtick allow messages to use other fonts. Select 'latin' from dropdown menu and then select preferred font. Click OK. Repeat that process by selecting 'other writing systems' from dropdown menu and select the same font settings. Click OK again.
