Repeating Task Not Regenerating

I created a task in v102.3.1 (32-bit) in Windows 10 and made it repeating. It was due yesterday, I got the reminder and marked the task as complete - screen shot attached. Having previously used Microsoft Outlook to manage tasks I expected the due date for the task to increase by one month and therefore show as due in the future in the Today Pane. That didn't happen, the due date still shows as yesterday (03/10/2022).

As far as I can see I've followed the guidance in the help documentation so what do I need to do to get the task to show as due again in a month after completing the current month's occurrence please?

I'm still having this problem. Can anyone tell me how to handle repeating tasks in Thunderbird please.
