Firefox 112/Windows 11 - I can't import my bookmarks. Some showed up, but not all. And, they weren't from the file I chose, but from 5+ years ago. What's happening, and how can I fix this without going to every page and manually saving and moving each? Also, problematic is that when I save a bookmark, it won't save under the folder I select. I have to move it from Recently Saved Bookmarks to my folder. I have a lot of bookmarks. Please help!

Is this about importing an HTML backup? Did you create this backup with Firefox and do you remember what Firefox version or in what year ? Do you see all the bookmarks if you open the file in a new tab? If it always stops at a specific position then you can check file to see whether there are usual characters at that position.
