Upgraded to 3.6 because it kept bugging me to. Now the program will not start at all. Not even play like it's starting. No error messages - nothing. I do not want to spend my afternoon troubleshooting. I just want a browser that works. Google Chrome here I come.

Agree. Loosing to Google Chrome. I used to love this browser and now it's the big elephant in the room :-( Pity

I am losing so much time trying to fix my problems with Firefox 3.6. What a pity!

Try to run Firefox in Safe mode and disable all addons
