The add-on, Send Page By Email (version 0.6.3), does not work in Firefox version 3.6.8. When will this add-on or another add-on that accomplishes this same task be available for Firefox 3.6.8?

We can not provide an answer for this. The developer of the add-on has not updated it since April 2, 2009. You can visit his website here. You can explore new add-ons at this link .Maybe this add-on will help

You can use older extensions that are not updated to work with Firefox 3.6 by adding a new boolean in the configuration of Firefox.

Go to about:config in the address bar and click on I'll be careful, I promise! to continue. Right click a empty white spot on the web page and select New>Boolean then set the name to extensions.checkCompatibility.3.6 (NOTE: This is case sensitive). then set it to FALSE then you can run older addons.
