I am using the current version 3.6.9 of Firefox. In my bookmarks menu I would like to see the folders first and then the actual bookmarks sorted by name. Is there anyway to do this ? In my case even the folders get sorted by name.

Thanks for your reply. This addon doesnt have Sort as Type option ? Or am I missing something ? I need to sort so that all folders are together and then the addresses

Did you try that extension?
The default should be to order Folders first and then the Bookmarks (see the Folder ordering pane at the bottom of the first screenshot).
