I've checkmarked warn me if I try to close multiple tabs, but if I try to close multiple tabs it still closes I want the feature where I can save the tabs and see them when i come back
I have checkmarked warn me when I try to close multiple tabs in my Firefox options but when I close multiple tabs they still close without warning. When I open Firefox again I don't see them again. I thought that if I didn't get a warning I would see them again when I started a new browsing session. How can I get this feature or the warning that my tabs won't be there when I start my new browsing session?

You can use Save & Quit with one of these Startup settings:
- Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my home page" or "Show a blank page"
Save and Quit will only work if you close Firefox via "File > Quit" to close all open Firefox windows.
If you use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox then restoring tabs from the last session ("Save & Quit" or "Show my windows and tabs from last time") doesn't work.
You can reset the warn prefs on the about:config page via the right-click context menu.
- browser.tabs.warnOnClose , see http://kb.mozillazine.org/About%3Aconfig_entries
- browser.warnOnQuit , see http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.warnOnQuit
- browser.warnOnRestart , see http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.warnOnRestart
Thanks. I solved the problem. I had set my browser to start ever session in private browsing. When I changed that the save and quit option came up
