Firefox will not load completely even after shutdown

I have downloaded version 4 after happily using the previous version. The program asks me to shutdown and restart. When I have done so, and clicked the icon (not the old icon) I am sked to again shutdown and restart. This has happened at least a dozen times. I would like to go back to the prior version. John

do you have the administrator previledge? and you need to do some test for ff4.0 to see if it is suitable for you. if it looks not that good, back to 3.6.16, and don't forget you need a restart of your windows after reinstall ff4.0.
