I am now using Firefox 7, and there are a few features from earlier versions of Firefox that I would really like to bring back, either by using some sort of an addon or otherwise.

One of them is the separated dropdown arrows for back and forward. I know FF4 and up actually REMOVED the dropdown arrow entirely (which is stupid, if you ask me). I installed the "Back/forward Dropmarker 1.0" extension to get a dropdown arrow... but this is just ONE dropdown arrow like in FF3. When I was using FF3, I used an extension called NoUnButtons to separate these into a different arrow for back and for forward.

Does anybody know of any way to do this? I know it may seem weird, but I really like having separate arrows as I actually do use them quite a bit.

Is just needs some time to get used to the way that it now works.
Is it really that much harder to hold down the mouse button on either Back or forward button to make that list appear?

You can right-click either B/F button or click the arrow at the right side of the Forward button to open the tab history list.
In Firefox 4 you can hold down the left mouse button on either Back or Forward button until the tab history list opens.
The current active entry has a bullet in front of it.
If you hover an entry in the tab session history list with the mouse then you see an arrow at the left side pointing left (Back) or right (Forward) to show the direction.
You can left click an item to open it in the current tab or middle-click or Ctrl left-click an entry in that list to open that link in new tab, just like you can with other links.
