Uploaded Firefox 7.01 and now my gmail does not work and FF keeps crashing

After uploading firefox 7.01 and restarting computer today, it is crashed. Can not open gmail without it freezing. I am on Mac oxs on a Mac book Pro. I would prefer Firefox let me choose if and when I want to update. Every update there is an issue, but this is the worst ever. However the pop-up puts it in your face daily to upgrade. Now I had to trash firefox.

I fund crupile - simply disable adblock for mail.google.com - cy.
