New Firefox turning Word attachments into ashx files: why? How do I get it to stop? Everything was fine until I allowed Firefox to update itself yesterday.
Word documents attached to emails usually open up as word documents. Now that I updated Firefox, which is something that just happened automatically, my Word documents are simply being called "attachment.ashx." It's fine on Safari, and I would feel sad to abandon Firefox, but I will have to if this cannot be fixed.

A bug has been filed to track resolution of the issue here, because a true fix isn't yet available: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=703015
