I have 5 toolbars and they all rest one after another. I have plenty of room to move them side by side-by cannot find a way to do that or unlock them. IE has lock and unlock, what does Firefox have?

I know how to customize the toolbars and how to add and subtract toolbars. My question is how do you actually move a tool bar. Right now I have 5 toolbars, one on top of the other. Wasted real estate. I want to move them next to each other since I have a widescreen and 3 can fit on 1 line. IE does it by locking and unlocking toolbars. This simple function does not seem to exist in Firefox.

I guess you didn't bother to read those support articles or you would have learned how it is done in Firefox. In Firefox you don't move an entire toolbar all at once, each individual element is moved one at a time, allowing for a more customized user interface than is possible with other browsers.

That said, many toolbar add-ons are coded on the "cheap" and don't make customizing their toolbars as easy as the basic Firefox toolbars are. If you can't move an element of an add-on toolbar to where you want it, try moving other elements to that toolbar. It seems that it takes like three times the amount of "code" (and probably time) to create a toolbar "properly", then to do it quick and dirty, thus leaving the user of that toolbar up the creek when it comes to re-arranging their toolbars.

On my wide screen Firefox installations, I reduce the UI down to one toolbar.

Yes I did bother to read the support article. Yes I do know how to customize a tool bar. None of the items in my toolbars can be dragged. None are in the customization box, so I attached an image of my toolbars with lines to show you what I am talking about. I tried to do it by following the instructions but to no use.

It looks like many of the things you have added to Firefox are duplicates and triplicates. Why three different password manager add-ons, in addition to the password manager that is built into Firefox? Did you try moving the Bookmarks Toolbar Items down to one of the toolbars under the Bookmarks Toolbar? Then you could hide the Bookmarks Toolbar.
