You have most likely been given a direct link to the mobile version. Remove the "m." from the front of the URL and try again.
There are dozens of news sites that load mobile pages. I have tried removing the "m' and they just keep reloading as mobile pages. Some sites have a link to pick mobile or desk. Most don't or its hard to find. This don't happend in any other browser. I have turned off all add-ons, downloaded all updates and deleted Firefox and downloaded the latest release build, set it back up and it still happends.
So this link doesn't work?
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
