sometimes i seach many reference at http://pubs.acs.org/. i input vol, page , click search, i just want a new tab opened for my result just like maxthon 1, but i cannot make it. 

or in google i click search, i want a new tab, the mother page keeps no changing.

for the Google site you can set that on the Google Search Settings page that you can access via the gear shaped icon on the results page.

You can always force to open normal links (i.e. not JavaScript onclick links) by middle-clicking the link with the mouse scroll wheel.
