I can't play youtube videos or access games on facebook
I can't play youtube videos or access games on facebook, and some websites I only get 1/2 the page. It seems like something is blocking my flash. It says my flash is up to date and also shockwave. I have included 2 screenshots. I have started in safe mode and nothing works. Works perfect in google chrome. The problem is only firefox. Any ideas??? http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq36/otter2208/youtube.jpg http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq36/otter2208/face-1.jpg I goto my plugins and see shockwave flash only. Also I have tried other sites with video and the video does not pull up at all.

I tried to download an older version but it would not install for some reason. I did a system restore and now everything works. I WILL NOT UPDATE UNTIL firefox can fix their issues.

Does Flash work on the Adobe test page?
the page pulls up but where I think a video or flash thing is supposed to be playing all I see is the word ADVERTISEMENT. I have d-loaded and installed the player, I think something is blocking it. Is that possible and if so how to correct? here is what it looks like. http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq36/otter2208/flash.jpg
Try to reset the prefs.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

There is no problem with shockwave flash 11.2 plugin. It must due to Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.257.
Either Firefox 13.0 do not support Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.257 or Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.257 do not support Firefox 13.0.
Please fix this problem ASAP!

Thanks.
I didn't have a problem until I updated the flashplayer.
I found the solution here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQbu0k0rPwc&feature=youtu.be&hd=1&html5=1
I know the link is youtube, but when I had the same problem on my site http://motivationaldiary.com/ I am still able to view the youtube.
If you really can't watch the video, then try this step: 1. Closer Firefox browser 2. Open RealPlayer 3. Click RealPlayer (menu), Preferences, Download & Recording 4. Uncheck "Enable Web Download & Recording for these installed browser" (even if Firefox does not show here, uncheck the box anyway 5. Restart Firefox, it should be fine now.
If this helps you, please spare a few seconds to visit my page http://motivationaldiary.com/ Many thanks!

Happy Father's Day to All! http://motivationaldiary.com/belief/what-father-would-do-for-son/
It became obvious when I updated to flashplayer 11.3 that Firefox did not like to display the videos and pages properly. I went through the process of uninstalling flashplayer 11.3 and installing the archived version 11.2. Took a couple days to realize there was an issue and a couple hours to find out what to do about it. At least, Firefox gave me the answer in help forum and I followed those instructions to solve the issue. Use the uninstaller recommended and then download the zipfile(archived) and install the correct(suggested) versions file and that should do it...hopefully! Did for me....WHEW!
I had the same problem but restored to an earlier version of Firefox and all has returned to normal!
If that is all you see is "advertisement" then you either have a conflicting addon or you have AdBlock Plus installed and blocking the page somehow, OR you have the FlashBlock extension enabled. Take Cor-El's advice and start in Safe-Mode to see if the flash player install works as well as your game sites, etc. I don't have any problems on YouTube or Facebook, etc. and I'm running FF 13.
