After downloading Babylon and then uninstalling it using uninstall feature, babylon search became the default new tab and I do not know how to get rid of it?

I ran the PC Tools Registry Program to clean windows history and third party software traces, did not help. This happens every time I click on + sign to open new tab. I can erase or overwrite this, but it is a nuisance.
