There was only a print_printer, but it didn't help.
Same problem in Chrome or Firefox.
I have to try to save it and print from file.
No more HP printers for me. They start fine, then strangely change.
Funky, it isn' the HP Printer. I have had the same problem with Firefox v 12-18 (which is why I don't use Firefox...would really like to use firefox.) I have RESET PRINTER till I'm blue in the face. I have used HP, Samsung, Brother, and Epson printers that all print in IE explorer just fine, but won't print in firefox. I have had three different firewalls as well. So if someone has a clue other than to RESET PRINTER, please give it a shot......and by the way, I can't find "print.print_printer" in Config either. There is a "print_printer" but nothing else. I post this same problem every year, but no one seems to have an answer.......so I go back to IE explorer - yuck. Please, please don't tell me to RESET PRINTER.........
I have tried it in Chrome also with the same results. Everything works fine for a while, then things go awry. This is the second HP AIO that I have had problems with. There plain printers in the past have worked fine for years with no problems. I have tried using it directly from the Solution Center and with the same problem. It is not Firefox. It peints okay but getting there is a problem. HP had a problem when they first stated that their software was Win7 compatible. For over a year thousands of users had complaints. Even now when you set default you still have to reset the print when printing a document. More bugs occuring over time.
If it is HP, then why are two (2) Brother printers (different models) that I am currently using having the same problem?? I have used Epson as well as HP, and got the same message in firefox.....Samsung as well.....All those printers work fine in IE Explorer and everywhere else except firefox. The problem is in Firefox....
I have the same problems in Chrome and even through HP Solution Center w/o FF, Chrome IE, etc. its HP. The individual who gave me this printer used only IE and had the problems. He bought an Epson with no problems. Also when it shows you hoe much ink is left, it is wrong.
