Firfox freezs often when dragging from bookmark toobar to tabs! fix?
Firefox freezes quite often when I attempt to drag an icon from my bookmark toolbar into a new tab. When this happens, firefox locks right up. My wireless mouse still works but the icon box is stuck to the end of my mouse pointer. I can only exit firefox through the task manager, and upon attempting to re start firefox, I am prompted with a dialogue box saying that firefox is already running. No other applications are affected.Firefox unlocks in about 1 to 2 minutes, with everything returning to normal. This problem occurs on several computers in both windows 7 and 8. Fix?

How about a suggestion?
Middle-click a bookmark to gave it open in a new Tab.
Other than that, do a little bit of diagnosis.
Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
When in Safe Mode...
- The status of plug-ins is not affected.
- Custom preferences are not affected.
- All extensions are disabled.
- The default theme is used, without a persona.
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored.
- The default toolbar layout is used.
- The JIT Javascript compiler is disabled.
- Hardware acceleration is disabled.
