AutoConfig doesn't connect (shows the screen immediately) and Mail.com will not authenticate (done manually) ONLY ON WINDOWS 8 (other Windows versions work well) What is going on? I was able to take the same exact login credentials and successfully logged into mail.com, when Thunderbird did not. I have 2 other computers XP and Windows 7, that have no issues. Checked Windows Firewall, and Thunderbird is allowed to get in and out. I'm on an Acer Aspire (V5-122p), which has Windows 8 and AMD A4 (dual 1.00). Is it possibly a new Thunderbird version with an issue?

Note I have gotten about.com's mail.com info for SMTP and Pop3, but none worked.
