When using FF 133 there are 2 locations to clear cookies. 1 the menu bar on the top left in which you can go to History, Clear recent history, then clear "cookies & site data" 2. the next is the URL where you click on the HTTPS lock and select "clear cookies and site data"

Strangely method 1. does not clear cookies when selected even though "everything" is selected in the main tab at the top. Method 2 does clear cookies.

This appears to be an over sight or misslabeled menu. Is that correct ?

I recently encountered an issue when attempting to login to The Coventry Building Society website using Firefox (desktop PC & Windows 1):- https://www.coventrybuildingsociety.co.uk/ It failed to display the page used to enter the one time passcode used for two factor authentication.

After looking on some forums I discovered this is because 'Strict' tracking protection was enabled. If I change to 'Custom' and uncheck 'Tracking Content' then things work as expected.

I also read on a forum that you can leave tracking protection set to 'Strict' but enter the URL for the problem website under 'Enhanced Tracking Protection->Manage Exceptions'. I tried entering 'https://www.coventrybuildingsociety.co.uk/' Initially this appeared to work. However, when I tried it again the following day, the page failed to load as before. I had to change back from 'Strict' to 'Custom' and uncheck 'Tracking Content' once again. It's as if the exception URL is ignored in 'Strict' mode.

Am I doing something wrong or is this how it is supposed to work? Do I need to click on the shield icon (to the left of the padlock icon) and turn off 'Enhanced Tracking Protection' every time I visit the website?

Recently, Firefox has been blocking and/or not loading certain page elements on some websites. Canva and Google Teachable Machine (GTM) are the only site I've noticed having issues as of now, but I assume there may be others. Canva loaded perfectly fine in the past, but recently it has stopped loading the images of most graphics. (See included images) I have disabled all extensions; deleted cache, cookies, and site data; reset firefox to default settings, "Refreshed" firefox (the alternative option given when trying to uninstall it), restarted my PC, ensured firefox is up to date, and ensured my settings do not block cookies. I'm at a loss as to what is causing this issue. Both Canva and GTM display different reasons for content not being displayed, but I have a hunch that their issues are related. I have confirmed these sites load correctly on other browsers. I only experience these issues on firefox (both regular and developer edition). All suggestions and advice are appreciated, Thanks!

Some common errors on Canva that I see: Failed to load ‘https://media-public.canva.com/t_gKw/MAFSBct_gKw/1/s-1.svg’. A ServiceWorker passed an Error Response to FetchEvent.respondWith(). This typically means the ServiceWorker performed an invalid fetch() call. hjfept.27f97ba74f48070c.js:69:315

The great and mighty Firefox that lords it over all other browsers about privacy has far too many opt-out features and options. I'm happy to know I participated in 22 studies before I found the toggle to turn it off, whatever the Hell those studies are. I haven't used Firefox in 13 years and this is the sort of non-sense I return to?

I don't actually want an answer, I just needed to complain.

Hello. I'm using Windows 11 on a desktop pc. I just downloaded Firefox from internet.

Questions: 1. I don't see "About". How can I tell what version of Firefox I have? 2. My browser bar across the top of the screen has buttons ">>" and "Other Bookmarks", with a different set of bookmarks in each. Why are there two? 3. The same toolbar has specific websites appearing on it, like McAfee Security, etc., some of which are not found in ">>" for "Other Bookmarks". How do I get rid of them without getting rid of the buttons for ">>" and "Other Bookmarks" (which I use)? 4. How do I import the bookmarks from an html file which is on my harddrive? 5. Is there any way I can a list of URLs I have visited? Where? If so, can I have it cleared whenever I exit Firefox? 6. Firefox used to have a white screen, now it has a yellowish screen like all my other Windows programs. Can I set it to white?

About once a week, since 1/4/25, I been receiving different emails demanding payment or the author will divulge to all of my email contacts about the pornography I am supposedly viewing, which I do not. Can you do anything to close these email accounts? All of the messages are from different authors with different email addresses. I keep thinking this will run its course and end but it has not. Thanks. Jim Woodburn
