Well, first things first.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode; Press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by;

Windows; Tools > Options Linux; Edit > Preferences Mac; application name > Preferences

Then Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

See if there is still a problem.

A lot of crashes, and quite a few different crash Signatures.

Do you get Crashes in Firefox's safemode and with all plugins disabled, if so paste in 3 or 4 crash IDs from those crashes.

• Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

Do you notice any particular pattern or apparent cause of the crashes ?

If safemode does not help it is probably worth trying to rule out malware as a cause by scanning with multiple and up to date tools.

Please post back to say how you get on and what you have tried. (The previous post also contained suggestions.)

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

• Microsoft Safety Scanner
• MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
• TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
• Hitman Pro
• ESET Online Scanner

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Have you tried Firefox with all plugins disabled, and in Firefox's safemode. Does it then crash still ? If so please paste in 2 or 3 crash report IDs from that configuration. (We only need the bp-hhhhhhhh-hhhh-hhhh-hhhh-hhhhhhnnnnnn The forum software creates a link AFTER the post has been previewed and posted.)

This is apparently a crash signature that may have more than one cause. It is quite likely it is something in your profile. Have you tried any malware scans yet if so what did you use and what were the results ?

You should also create a new additional test profile and try that.
