Java MUST be enabled on your browser to use Intel® Driver Update Utility.
and how can i do that?
In the address bar, type: about:config and press Enter. Click "I'll be careful, I promise" if a warning message appears.
In the search box, search for javascript.enabled
Toggle the "javascript.enabled" preference (right-click and select "Toggle" or double-click the preference) to change the value from "false" to "true".
the java enabled is in true already
Look at the top right corner of your first screenshot and think hard what to do.
Note, Java is something completely different than Javascript.
vanik84, the Java plugin and JavaScript are Not the same thing as JavaScript was originally going to be called LiveScript which would have helped in the name confusion. http://kb.mozillazine.org/JavaScript_is_not_Java
I'm not sure what Java version you need for the Intel® Driver Update Utility. Firefox is a 32-bit application and thus only work with the 32-bit Java version that you do appear to have installed as it shows in the System Details list.
It is possible that the Intel® Driver Update Utility won't work with Firefox if it uses the default browser.
Note that there has been a change in the Java security settings, see:
- "What should I do when I see a security prompt from Java?":

If you visit a website regularly then a possible workaround is to add the URL to the Java Exceptions Site List, see:
- "Why are Java applications blocked by your security settings?":
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/java_blocked.xml - "How can I configure the Exception Site List?":
http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/exception_sitelist.xml
vasilsi, in your second image you circled the "Download the ActiveX/java Installer" when that was listed under part for Internet Explorer. The ActiveX Plugins will only work on Internet Explorer since no other browser supports ActiveX.
yes i have noticed
