For several weeks every time I open Firefox I have been getting notifications that Tab Mix Plus and No Script have been updated. New tabs are opened for each notification. There has been at least one update for No Script but I still get the tab opening up every day. They keep showing the same update version...nothing has changed. I'm using FF version 28.0

Noscript opens, whenever there is a script in that page.

TabMix is used to Control the Tab.

You can change the Notification in that Addons Settings

  • Type about:addons in URL > Extensions > {your add-on} > Settings

Please update to Firefox 30, and then update your add-ons.

One thing you can do is to remove all you add-ons (after saving them), restart Firefox, then re-install them.

These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox

FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backup of files that you choose.
