Firefox keeps crashing.
My Firefox browser keeps crashing. Started about a month ago. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no luck.
I don't get any sort of error message or anything. It just freezes up and I can't do anything other than close Firefox. If I try opening it again, it tells me it's already running....in order to actually open my Firefox Browser again, I need to get into Control Panel, close all Firefox apps, and start over. Hope it doesn't crash again/soon.
Plz help, thx.

Can you start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift/Options key?
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the Report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help > Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).
- Click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.
If necessary then you can open about: pages via the location/address bar.

Thank you for responding back. Apologies on the late reply.
It still is intermittently crashing. I already went ahead and disabled all hardware acceleration. I do not see any "bp" labeled crash reports on the "All Crash Reports" page.
Please advise.
Thx, Dom
Are there any crash report at all present?
If the "bp-" prefix is missing then click its line on the about:crashes page to submit the crash report and the crash report will get a "bp-" prefix (do not add it yourself).
Please follow these instructions
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers, click it and select Submit.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
Thx for the feedback.
Interestingly enough, a "bp" pops in front of each crash report when I click on them. There are 26 total crashes listed. Last 10 pasted below:

Good work. Let's see now . . . . .
The crash report flagged these programs;
Some say: Process Type plugin Shockwave Flash Version:15.0.0.152
Some said Unknown
Update your Flash Player v16.0.0.257

- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

Thx for the help.
So I believe I was able to fully download, upate, etc. the Adobe Shockwave Flash thingy.
As for the graphic drivers, I tried downloading the Intel driver updates. My laptop runs on an Intel i7 drive. That update seemed to not work. Not sure why, but it keeps telling me these need to be downloaded and installed, even though I keep downloading and installing them.
I've also tried downloading all Windows updates, and it is not downloading them. I do not know why.
Don't see any appicable "Toshiba" updates, laptop is a Toshiba Satellite P55t - A5118.
Please advise.
Thx, Dom
Start your Computer in safe mode. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites.
