I deploy some addons system wide under windows with the registry method, I also set the option auto.DisableScope = 0 that the addons are accepted, this works with Fx ESR 24.x but after upgrading to ESR 31. the addons asking for activation with already existing Fx profiles. In new created profiles, they still get instant activated without asking the user, an suggestions?

The Addon comaptibility wizard check for 3rd party addons an disable them. with shownSelectionUI = true It doesn't check the addons and don't disable them.

Hi trockenasche, I would hightly recommend also asking this in the ESR mailing list. That is where the experts are. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/

It's actually not an ESR related problem. Same behaviour with Fx 32.x. But I gone give it a try with the mailing list.
