Updated. Firefox now spends all its time writing to the hard drive rather than loading a page. Restarted in safe mode and refreshed. IE works fine. Using windows 7 on a dell laptop with 8g of memory. Can I change the settings in FF 36.0 to get it to use more memory and less hard drive? Should I go back to previous FF version. I don't really want to switch to IE. Thank you.
