After Refresh Firefox - cannot get into anything - keep getting errors

more options

I got the notification that Firefox was running slow, so I did a refresh. Now, I cannot get into my Yahoo e-mail without it telling me that there is an error. When I finally managed to get in, a picture that I sent to me didn't show up. Then when I went to log into my work e-mail, which is a secured network, I couldn't get in there either. I wish I hadn't done a refresh now. The error is the one that says that the web page is not secure.

Do you use a security suite that filters your web traffic, for example, Kaspersky, avast!, ESET, BitDefender? After a refresh, Firefox no longer trusts the "fake" certificates presented by your security software (this is necessary in order to intercept and decrypt your secure connections) and needs to be set up to work with it again.

Or as a quick workaround, you usually can turn off the SSL/HTTPS scan and only scan non-secure connections.

Rather than post dozens of paragraphs about particular products, could you indicate which one you have?
