FF keeps saying Flash needs to be updated?
My FF browser has been crashing a lot lately out of nowhere, which never happens to me.
Seems to happen when i'm watching videos on youtube. So I checked to see if Flash needed to be updated thinking that was probably the reason for the crashes and it indeed needed to be updated.
So I downloaded and installed the latest version. However, whenever I go into "check to see if plugins are up to date" it's still saying my Flash is out of date.
Yet, if I run a check on Flash's website it says "Congratulations, your computer has the latest Flash Player installed."
I feel like something with this is causing the crashes...why would FF not see that my Flash IS up to date?

I had similar problems, except it was flash player crashing. Try using this flash player uninstaller to completely remove flash from your system. Then install a fresh version from the adobe site. Sometimes updating causes problems, completely uninstalling and then reinstalling works wonders.
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/.../uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
If you click the More System Details link next to your post, it shows two Flash versions:
- Shockwave Flash 16.0 r0
- Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800
I think the Adobe uninstaller SueWitch mentioned is the best next step. It should remove all versions and then you can reinstall just the latest.
