Folder does not sync with IMAP

I'm using Thunderbird 12.0.1 and IMAP folder syncing has always worked well, until a month ago when the Sent box would not automatically sync until I restart TB. Even when I right-click the folder to force "Download Now", it does not work. "Repair Folder" doesn't always work.

The other folders work fine (Inbox, Inbox subfolders, Trash, etc) only the Sent folder is affected. However, on my iPhone, all folder sync immediately including the Sent folder, so it's a Thunderbird issue specifically and not my email host, I think.

I've tried deleting the foldertree.json under the Profile, re-installed TB over the existing installation, neither worked.

Help, please.

Perhaps upgrade to a more recent version. Even if there is a bug in V12 it will not be fixed.

Yes, that's one of the steps I took. I uninstalled it and installed 31.5, but the problem persists.

I keep seeing this in the Error Console: Security Error: Content at imap://van%40mymail%2Ecom@imap.zoho.com:993/fetch%3EUID%3E/Sent%3E3244 may not load or link to mailbox:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/phoenix/Application%20Data/Thunderbird/Profiles/3t4kz4uu.default/Mail/Local%20Folders/Drafts?number=149555299&downloadType=uploadedFile&fileName=twittericon-12px.png&blockId=48d0a45894056572b1570a00285e5f4483ac9eb2e89feffd&zgId=b54d79c69095249d&mode=view.

Is this a TB problem or a server-side problem?

The thing I'm confused about is that I don't know if it's a TB problem (because Sent folder syncs fine on my different devices and on Outlook on the same PC) or a server problem (because TB can retrieve upon startup). Any ideas? Thanks!!

I also did the deletion of .msf files and "repair folder".. none worked. It seems like it can't see new messages because the activity manager reports the account is up-to-date (when it's not).
