Please can anyone advise how I can avoid having to keep putting in my password

I use Thunderbird on my computer at home and use it for my Yahoo! emails. There is only me using this computer. When using Thunderbird I am frequently prompted to input my password. This is a bit irritating. Can anyone please advise how I can use Thunderbird on my home computer without having to put my password in. Thank you.,

The password request dialog window has a check box to have Thunderbird remember the password. Use that.
